Rules for ALL vehicles at Decatur Northwest:
● The DNW community speed limit of 15 MPH applies to all resident-owned, motorized vehicles including golf carts and electric bicycles
● Use of all vehicles should be limited to transportation of people and their belongings
● Vehicles should always be operated in a safe and considerate manner, keeping in mind the impact that vehicle traffic, noise, and light have on other homeowners, especially those residents with homesites closest to our roads and common areas
● Vehicles should be parked by the Cart Barn and not near the Sylvan Cove beach when owners are away on boats or using the beach for a prolonged period
● Space is limited at the Cart Barn, thus no homesite should store more than one vehicle at the barn at a time
● Washington State vehicle and driving rules apply to all vehicles driven on DNW property, including golf carts. Every person operating a golf cart must be a licensed driver OR be at least 16 years of age and have completed a driver education course
